GAEL

Grid-based Atmospheric Estimation Library. A C++20 framework that fits observed stellar spectra against synthetic model grids, written to replace the grid fitting scripts in ISIS.

MIDIR

Multi-Instrument Data Input Reduce-inator. A data reduction toolkit for long slit spectrographs, built so that adding a new instrument is a small job rather than a rewrite.

The massive hot subdwarf binary LAMOST J065816.72+094343.12026

A hot subdwarf in a 7.7 hour orbit with an unseen companion of 1.30 solar masses, close enough to the Chandrasekhar limit that it is unclear whether it is a massive white dwarf or a neutron star.
