A Qt6 desktop application for managing and analysing stellar astrophysics data: catalogues, spectra, photometry, radial velocities and spectral energy distributions in one place.
What it does
ASTRA holds the whole working set for a stellar astrophysics project in a single application: large star catalogues, spectroscopic data, photometric measurements, radial velocity series and spectral energy distributions, together with the analysis that connects them.
Built with
C++ and Qt6 for the application and interface, Fortran for the numerical work, and Python for data processing.
Getting it
Pre-built AppImage releases are the recommended route on Linux. It also builds from source on Ubuntu, Debian and Arch.
