What is collected

This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party trackers, and has no login or comments.

The contact form is the one exception. When you submit it, the name, email address, subject and message you entered are sent to my mailbox, along with your IP address and country, which are recorded to make abuse of the form traceable. Delivery is handled by Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) acting as a processor. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns a possible working relationship, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f), my legitimate interest in answering enquiries. Messages stay in my mailbox for as long as the correspondence is useful.

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes technical data, including your IP address, the requested URL, the time of the request and your browser's user agent, for the purpose of delivering the page and protecting the service against abuse. This is necessary to operate the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in secure and functional delivery). Cloudflare acts as a processor under a data processing agreement; transfers outside the EU are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Fonts and assets

All fonts, images and scripts are served from this domain. Nothing is fetched from Google Fonts or any other third-party CDN, so no data is sent to other providers when you load a page.

Email

If you write to me directly rather than through the form, your message and address are stored in my mailbox for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Brandenburg that is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht.
